Love this site - just bought my first Fergie and every tag on it is missing. Wish I knew for sure what year it is. From what I can tell from your wonderful site with its many photos and owner comments, I think I may have myself a TO30. But still not sure. Anyway keep up the good work.[From Rick: Congrats on your new toy. A TO-30 can be differentiated from a TO-35 or F-40 by having only one shift lever (three forward and one reverse gear) and having its oil filter on the engine right side versus in the oil pan like a TO-20.]
You all have a great site - I did not realize there were so many Fergusons still out there. We have owned our TO-20 about 10 years. I am very new to the internet and happened across your site. Only a handfull of Fergys around here. Thanks for all your effort. John
First time looking at this site, I have owned a 1949 TE20 since 1976, used to use it for cutting grass with a bush hog on the farm, it's been stored in my barn since 1989, got interested since I had to move some stuff in the barn, interesting tractor, still in good working order, but with red paint, wrong color, will restore it in a few years after I retire from politics, it's like finding a diamond in one's own back yard.
I just bought a Ferguson TO30 and was looking on the web for info on this tractor and found this site. Excellent job. Can you tell what kind of oil goes in the transmission and rear end? I may have to try and get to the show in Iowa if it fits my schedule. Thanks in advance and God Bless. Wayne, Minot, ND [From Rick: Welcome to the wonderful world of Ferguson tractor ownership.]
Hi Rick and Sarah great site keep up the good work taking pictures and adding captions. They are the things that take the time but what a difference when some one looks over them. I do hope to get back to visit one of your shows again. Especially liked the picture of the late Clarence Carhill. I don't have many pictures of him tho we spoke almost daily for close on two years before his untimely death - how I miss the exchange of info!
Jim Nisbet [From Rick: Great to hear from you Jim, and you are correct, Clarence is sorely missed. It would be great to see you again.]

Seems like a lot of good info. will check back. Was looking for the color of a 1953 TO-30. Could not find it so far. Thanks Ron [From Rick: Look at the paint scheme and paint color codes links on the Resources page. The TO-20's and TO-30's were all grey.]

Would like to see more resources for restoring the Fergusons. Diagrams, detailed photos of each area of the tractor...that sort of thing. [From Rick: Personally I'd love to have this too on the site. Your best bet is to get the owners, shop, and parts manuals for your model of tractor. I see them on ebay all the time.]
