Message:I always enjoy web sites dedicated to old machinery. I am not a farmer. I was born and raised in Detroit. I love the out doors and have a habitat development project going on. See a little story below. I was able to obtain a 1955 TO35 that had been in storage for quite some time. I had a 1947 Ford 2N and wanted to upgrade. I spent a few months slowly getting the engine free. I re-wired it and changed it to a positive 12V system. the original 6V generator was gone and had been replaced with a 12V generator. The generator does not have the gearbox for the tractormeter (boo-hoo). I did replace all the gauges as the needles had rotted off and most likely did not work. I also rebuilt the carburetor. Of course I started to learn about the machine and have learned quite a bit so far. I only wish the previous owner would not have painted over the original green and grey colors. Sincerely, John

Message:This is the first time I have seen this site I found a link from yesterdays tractors. Your site is great and the photos are awesome. I have a 1951 TO-30 and a 1961 International 404 that my father once owned in the 1980's and I was able to buy it back from the person that he sold it to. I have had the International for about 9 months and I have had the Ferguson for about 2.5 years. Now that I have found your site I will add it to my favorites and visit often. By the way I am in Florida and live only about 35 miles from Fort Meade but have never been to any of the shows there but I will some day. I love these old tractors. I am 39 y.o. and am married with 3 children. [From Rick: Sorry we missed seeing you this year in Fort Meade. Keep an eye on the show schedule page to see if FENA will go back there next year - we'd love to meet you if we can make it.]
