Message:I own a 1954 TO-30. When I move the hydraulic control lever nothing happens, until a certain point and then the arms raise or lower all the way. Is this the way Ferguson hydraulics work? I want to use a brush chopper with rear guide wheel. When I attach it, I can get it to be all up or all down. I grew up with Fords. When you set the control lever the arms stayed there. I have questioned "old time tractor mechanics" and set off quite a storm of different opinions. Don't want to tear the tractor apart if nothing can be done. I do love my Fergie. Any replys appreciated!
